2010 Session Starts January 19th
The Legislature in the Special Session of 2009 held in October was unable to fully address the $650 million deficit in the current fiscal year. Our state budget at $6.2 billion in 2007 has been reduced over the last two legislative sessions to about $5.2 billion.

Participants met with ECEConsortium, American Children & Families, Pre-K Now, US Chamber, National Women’s Law Center, and several Senators & epresentatives. The date for the 2010 Fly-In will be the week of September 20, 2010 NCCA has published its Federal priorities for 2009-2010. They are available at www.NCCAnet.org.
